Thank you very much to everyone who came out to show me and my plant-based product line 'Ancient Blends' some love and support this past weekend at the festival! It was so exciting; successful and a lot of hard work. I'm extremely grateful for my two young assistants; my lovely God daughter Ka-Nefer (chess champ) and my beautiful niece, Jessinia (track star) and my friend/student Renee. I honestly could not have done this without their love, respect, passion and dedication to my passion.
Today is Wednesday, day three after vending for the full four days of the International African Arts Festival (July 4th weekend also know as IAAF). So, I intend to give MYSELF (self-preservation) two hundred percent of healing, replenishing, energy before starting back to work. I'm resting up, sight seeing, eating good food, doing some gardening for my soul and just really taking it real easy. I'm also not seeing any clients/customers until this coming Saturday July 12th when I hope to be unpacked (finally) and The Cowrie Shell Center door will reopen for business!.
