So, what's up next? Oh yes, our 10th wedding anniversary is next... January 11th, 2015. Right in between both hubby and I mourning the loss of a very dear friend and our family members (my mom, his cousin and best friend) this season. I looked up at our wedding pic on the mantel and thought WE'RE STILL HERE!!!! LOVING EACH OTHER STILL!!! Well, how long has it been???? Omg it's been ten years~ one whole decade!!!! Lololol... We tend to get/stay busy doing. Not busy being,,, he... says "we need to look at each other more! " So true! We take it for granted that we're going to be here for a long, long time. The real time is now, this very moment. Trust and believe we've had plenty, plenty, plenty causes to bend and waiver over these past 15 years of validating each other's existence and experiences. That said, I give thanks for his love, his life and our journey so far. We're also thanking our ancestors that we haven't been broken by the numerous trials over these passing years. Ashe'
It's our 10th wedding Anniversary tomorrow! As long as we’re together, it’s a celebration of our marriage. And we celebrate pretty much every single day with a smile and simply holding hands as we fall asleep. Nope, not kidding. No fancy hotel rooms or buckets of champagne required.
He patiently puts up with a lot from me. I haven't always been patient with him. All of our issues have taken these 10 years and are still being worked through. Trust me, that’s not easy!
Thank you for taking out the trash every week, even though it’s so early and you’re rushing to work.

Today is our 10th wedding Anniversary!!! We've been married for a decade now. Wow! We've come so far in these past 10 years. We've learned and grown a lot. And we look forward to seeing what the universe has planned for us in the decades to come

I wasn’t always sure of it. I had my doubts at times. But, now, as we are celebrating 10 years married, 15 years together, I've learned that marriage requires two people working towards one common goal...A DIVINE UNION
During his speech (3 yrs ago), he announced to our friends and family "we're now at cruising altitude."
It’s kinda cool to have this special bond...Some asked what's the secret? I replied, I'm still learning, still on the journey...hmmm so far I can say we're friends, we truly want this marriage and we respect each other.
We noticed each other at a Moshood fashion show about 20 years ago...it was real casual tho. You see, I was already married!!! LOL
I never want to be one of those people who are always bragging about their perfect kids, perfect family, their perfectness....cause honestly it's still perfect in it's imperfections cause we are all still learning and growing. But the less energies involved the better. Marriage is so delicate and everyone makes mistakes...we're still growing stronger and wiser from the hundreds of our mistakes! SHEEESH!
there's an underlining element in all of these photos...on This 7th wedding anniversary LIFE had us managing one of the most painful events in my life...but LOVE held us, carried us through and kept us strong throughout. ASHE'
